Join us on Wednesday, December 31st, to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, with special New Year’s Eve features created by Executive Chef Jason Hughes, Chef Irv Miller, Chef Jeremiah Taylor, Chef Josh Rich, Chef John Huggins and Executive Chef Ian Gillette. Hours for each restaurant as well as special features, are as follows:

Jackson’s Steakhouse

Jackson’s, located in the heart of downtown Pensacola on Plaza Ferdinand, will be offering three special seatings for the evening of New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31. The seatings will be held at 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.According to Matthew Mabe, general manager, “We’re excited about New Year’s Eve. Don’t wait to reserve your table, every year’s celebration fills quickly.”

8-ounce center-cut filet, roasted bone marrow compound butter, blistered cherry tomatoes, fresh thyme demi-glace, duchess potatoes

Sea Scallops and Wagyu Burnt Ends
Seared Atlantic Sea Scallops, bourbon-pickled jalapenos and red onions, 7-hour hickory wood-smoked wagyu zabuton, tangy barbeque glaze, Champagne vinegar and honey slaw

Red Snapper with Crab Ravigote
Roasted spice-dusted Gulf Coast red snapper, caper and herb mayonnaise-dressed crabmeat, parsley lemon butter sauce, grilled asparagus

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Angelena’s, located in the heart of the entertainment district in historic downtown Pensacola, is preparing to celebrate the New Year!

Angelena’s will be offering three special seatings for the evening for our annual New Year’s Eve food and wine event. The seatings will be held at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m.; and will feature the culinary creations of Chef Ian Gillette, with a fixed-price, four-course menu. The cost per person is $125 plus tax and gratuity. Matt Nichols, wine director, will also offer a wine pairing for $45. Complimentary New Year’s Eve favors are included as well as complimentary parking in the Southtowne garage with validation upon arrival with the hostess.

Five Sisters’ Blues Café

Five Sisters’ Blues Café will be open for both lunch and dinner service on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31.

We will be offering lunch and dinner service, with lunch starting at 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and dinner beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  We will be serving from our standard menu featuring soups, starters, sandwiches and platters along with favorites including Aunt Sara’s Southern fried chicken, Southern seafood platter, our famous Chicken and Waffles — and much more.

In addition, to our full lunch and dinner menu, we will be offering a special New Year’s Eve feature: house-smoked prime rib served with au jus, loaded baked potato and Five Sisters’ Delta Ale-battered onion rings for $38. In addition, we will also offer party favors at dinner service and local favorite, Cat Daddy Blues Band, will perform 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
