The Fish House will be open and serving Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 9, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service available beginning at 3:00 p.m.
We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit. As always, we will be offering Bloody Marys for $2.
In addition, Chef de Cuisine John Huggins has created a special Mother’s Day feature that will be available for brunch: Trout Almondine with pan sautéed rainbow trout, topped toasted almonds and lump crabmeat. Served with asparagus, lemon and meunière sauce.
For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, portobello mushrooms, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits.
