The Fish House will be open and serving Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 14th, 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service available beginning at 3:00 p.m.
We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Baked French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit.
Chef Jason Hughes has created a special appetizer feature that will be available at both brunch and dinner: baked brie bites featuring puff pastry cups filled with baked brie and raspberry-morello cherry jam, topped with candied walnuts and fried rosemary.
In addition to our standard menu, Chef Hughes’ special brunch entrée feature is salmon bagel benedict with hardwood-smoked salmon, goat cheese mousse, roasted tomato on a toasted Emerald Coast Bread Co. everything bagel, avocado bearnaise and crispy capers with an arugula salad.
For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, portobello mushrooms, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Mother’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: parmesan-crusted Gulf red snapper filet over bucatini pasta, roasted local summer squash, spinach, fresh basil tossed in lemon-ricotta cream with charred tomato, roasted garlic breadcrumb and gremolata.
