Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at The Fish House! We will be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day feature as created by Chef Jason Hughes. The Fish House brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m.
We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Baked French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for brunch: Duck and Waffles featuring buttermilk-fried confit duck leg with aged cheddar-cornmeal waffles, topped with a bourbon-cane syrup glaze and served with crispy Applewood bacon.
For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, portobello mushrooms, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: Swordfish au Poivre featuring cracked pepper-crusted Gulf swordfish filet served with smoked Gouda potatoes au gratin, lemon-garlic sautéed spinach, and charred tomato. Topped with a whole grain mustard brandy cream.
