Thursday, April 21: The House of Taittinger: A Champagne Dinner
Champagne- the drink of kings! The most elegant and iconic sparkler in the world represents celebration, luxury and fun. Although the Angelenas wine list is all-Italian, there has always been room for a small, select group of premiere—and well-priced—champagnes. Taittinger is at at the top of Brooke’s list.
Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned Champagne houses that still exist. Based out of Reims, France, the champagne house is known for producing exceptionally elegant sparklers due to the high percentage of Chardonnay in the blend.
Chef James and Brooke will work closely with Mark Spaulding, lead luxury wine specialist of RNDC, and Taittinger Champagne representative, to lead you through a luxury champagne dinner like no other. Fresh Gulf seafood, light Italian cheeses and more will round out this memorable event. Event cost is $175 per person (plus tax and gratuity).
