Angelena’s is pleased to announce the upcoming Supper Club dinner, La Dolce Vita, on Thursday, August 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the main dining room of Angelena’s.
Join us as we celebrate Rome’s Golden Age of the 1960’s and director Federico Fellini’s classic, award-winning, black and white movie, “La Dolce Vita.” Translated to “the sweet life”, the comedy-drama follows a journalist over seven days and nights on his journey through the sweet life of Rome as he searches for love and happiness. Chef James Briscione and Wine Director Brooke Parkhurst will present a Supper Club event to encompass the feel of the time. All are encouraged to attend in true “La Dolce Vita” style with your best Golden Age dress.
The menu for the evening is inspired by the famous Fellini quote, “La vita e una combinazione di magia e pasta”, which translates to “Life is a combination of magic and pasta”.
Pancetta, Pecorino, Egg Yolk
Heirloom Tomato, Bacon, Calabrian Chili Dressing
Rigatoni Alla Gricia
Guanciale, Pecorino, Bodacious Olive Oil
Price for the dinner is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity, which includes a welcome Aperol Spritz and wine pairing. Seating for the La Dolce Vita dinner is limited; reservations are required and can be made by calling 850-542-8398.
