Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants

Join us on Wednesday, February 14th, to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer their standard menus, as well as special Valentine’s Day features created by Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Jason Hughes, Executive Chef James Briscione and Chef Josh Rich. Hours for each restaurant as well as special features, are as follows:

The Fish House

Celebrate this special day, Valentine’s Day, with us at The Fish House on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. We will be open for lunch service from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Chef Jason Hughes has created a special appetizer feature that will be available at both lunch and dinner: pan-fried Brussels sprouts, candied pork belly, toasted walnuts, and caramelized pear topped with Gorgonzola cheese and honey balsamic reduction.

In addition to our standard lunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches. Chef Hughes’ has created a special lunch entrée feature to celebrate the occasion: seared Scottish salmon filet over mixed greens tossed with Florida strawberries, feta cheese, spiced Renfroe pecans, shaved red onion and cucumber finished with strawberry-red wine vinaigrette.

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya. Chef Hughes’ has created a special Valentine’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: grilled Angus filet mignon and Maine lobster tail served over a velvety puree of roasted cauliflower and parsnip, served with grilled broccolini and whole-grain mustard cream.

Atlas Oyster House

Please join us at Atlas Oyster House as we celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. We will be open for dinner service beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of oysters – raw and baked, chilled seafood towers, sushi, soups and salads, small plates and entrees. Executive Chef Jason Hughes has created three special Valentine’s Day features that will be available to celebrate the occasion. The appetizer feature is flame-broiled Gulf Coast oysters with Gruyère, champagne butter and shaved piave; entrée feature is Gulf black grouper filet, crispy potato crust with rustic root vegetable ratatouille, exotic mushrooms, white truffle and mascarpone potato purée and sherry butter; and for dessert a cherry-filled vanilla cheesecake with chocolate chips, dark chocolate ganache, chocolate cookie crust with Heering cherry compote.

Jackson’s Steakhouse

Looking for the perfect place to celebrate? Join us at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. We will be open for lunch service from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and dinner service beginning at 5:00 p.m.

In addition to our standard lunch and dinner menus, Chef Irv Miller will offer a special Valentine’s feature available through Sunday; Pan-seared 4-ounce beef medallion and grilled half-cold water lobster tail, bucatini with cream reduction, roasted butternut squash, spinach and Bill-E’s lardons.

Join us at Five Sisters Blues Cafe on Wednesday, February 14, 2023, as we celebrate Valentine’s Day.  We will be open for lunch service 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with dinner service following.

In addition to our current lunch and dinner menus, Chef Josh Rich will offer a special Valentine’s features that will be available for both lunch and dinner.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Join us at Angelena’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14. We will be open for dinner service beginning at 4:00 p.m.

In addition to our standard dinner menu, Chef James Briscione will offer a special Valentine’s feature; Black Truffle-Stuffed Lamb Loin with Risotto all’Amarone featuring slow-roasted lamb loin, bacon and black truffle stuffing served with red wine and radicchio risotto. The special dish will be available on Valentine’s Day through Saturday, February 17.
