Jackson’s Steakhouse is proud to partner with Patron Tequila and Southern Wine and Spirits to present a handcrafted tequila and food event at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Tuesday, May 5th, 5:30 p.m.
The dinner will highlight tequilas from Patron’s signature Roca series. These quality tequilas are made exclusively by the Tahona process. The Tahona process is the traditional method for crushing baked agave, which creates a more complex liquid to deliver an earthier, more robust flavor experience. Brad Rose, Brand Manager for Southern Wine and Spirits and representative of Patron Tequila, will be in attendance to shed more light on the craft of distilling tequila. Chef Irv Miller has created a delicious menu that underlines the flavors from the tequilas. The full menu is as follows:
To Start
Huachinango ceviche – seared skin-on red snapper with Florida citrus supremes, bell peppers, red onion, Patron Silver, squeezed lime, cilantro, pomegranate seeds and couscous pearls paired with Roca Patron Silver
Second Course
Seared sea scallop Mexicali with chipotle aioli, radish, jalapeño, margarita mojo and toasted pepitas paired with Roca Patron Reposado
Third Course
Hot and Hot agave-glazed, slow-braised Chappapeela pork belly and white corn grits paired with Roca Patron Anejo
Fourth Course
Charred and sliced Vegas strip dressed with caramelized Texas 1015 sweet onions, bell peppers, garlic and fresh thyme, Patron-Poblano barbecue sauce and local greens paired with Roca Patron Gran Platinum
