Five Sisters’ Blues Café will be open for our traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 11, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, entrées, seafood and sandwiches as well as brunch favorites: The Sisters’ Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Smothered Chicken Biscuit, and The Sisters’ French Toast. As always, we will have live jazz performances throughout brunch service and offer our signature Bloody Mary: vodka, Louisiana hot sauce, pickled okra, Worcestershire sauce, olive juice and black pepper — topped with a fried chicken wing!
In addition to our brunch menu, Chef Josh Rich will offer special features that will be available throughout brunch service on Mother’s Day. In addition, these features will also be available for lunch and dinner service on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10.
Appetizer:
Eight Caribbean jerk-spice marinated wings, tossed in a pineapple jerk sauce
Entree:
Seared salmon with coconut curry sauce, served with sautéed vegetables over creamy rice grits
Dessert:
Chocolate lava molten cake, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce
