Celebrate Father’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants

Join us on Sunday, June 16th, for Father’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer their standard menus, as well as special features created by Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Jason Hughes and Executive Chef James Briscione and Chef Josh Rich. Hours and special features for each restaurant are as follows:

The Fish House

Join us on Sunday, June 16, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at The Fish House! We will be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day feature as created by Chef Jason Hughes. The Fish House brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Baked French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for brunch: roasted pork loin, hardwood-smoked pork shoulder, soft poached eggs, caramelized shallots, and sauce forestière with roasted wild mushrooms on a scratch-made buttermilk biscuit. Topped with Cajun tasso hollandaise, and served with crispy fingerling potato home fries.

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, Portobello mushrooms, Applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: grilled Beeler’s Heritage bone-in pork chop served over C & D Mill stone-ground white cheddar rice grits, Cajun braised red beans and smoked ham, and sautéed collard greens. Topped with crispy onions and creole choron.

Atlas Oyster House

Atlas Oyster House will be open for brunch service on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 11:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, sushi, oysters, entrées, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Crab Monte Cristo, Crustless Quiche, Grillades & Grits, and our Crispy Chicken Biscuit Benedict.

In addition, to our full brunch menu, Chef Jason Hughes will be offering a special feature to celebrate the occasion: roasted pork loin, hardwood-smoked pork shoulder, soft poached eggs, caramelized shallots, and sauce forestière with roasted wild mushrooms on a scratch-made buttermilk biscuit. Jackson’s Steakhouse

Join us on Sunday, June 16, for Father’s Day lunch and dinner at Jackson’s! We will be open and will offer lunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day features as created by Chef Irv Miller. Jackson’s Father’s Day lunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

For lunch, we will be serving from our special lunch menu, which features The 28th Amendment Burger, Shrimp and Avocado Stacked Salad, Panéed Chicken Breast Medallions, and Ole Hickory Petite Filet with Fried Green Tomatoes and Lump Blue Crab. In addition, Chef Irv Miller has created a Father’s Day brunch feature: ‘Reuben’ Eggs Benedict with marbled rye rusk, homemade corned beef and sauerkraut, soft poached eggs, sauce Choron, dill pickle relish, roasted potato medley and grilled asparagus.

For dinner, we will be serving from our dinner menu featuring a selection of starters as well as local fish, steaks, chops and lobster. In addition, our extensive award-winning wine list will be available. Chef Miller will also be offering a special dinner feature: Double Bone-in Elk chop

garlic herb whipped potatoes, roasted rainbow carrots and port wine demi-glace.

Join us on Sunday, June 16, for Father’s Day brunch at Five Sisters!

We will be open for our traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. serving from our standard brunch menu which features a selection of starters, salads and entrees as well as our classic brunch favorites including the Sisters’ Brunch Benedict, Smothered Chicken Biscuit, Belgium Waffles and more.

In addition, Chef Josh Rich has created a special feature: A taste of BBQ; Spare ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken and sausage, served with southern pineapple slaw, baked beans, Texas toast, white Alabama sauce and house made BBQ sauce.

We will be open 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. offering our current dinner menu which features a selection of salads and starters as well as house-made pasta, pizzas, local seafood, lasagna and more. Additionally, Chef James Briscione will offer a special Father’s Day feature: Bone-in Veal Chop alla Parmigiana with housemade papardelle and heirloom tomato sugo.
