The Fish House Serving Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner

The Fish House will be open and serving Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 12, 2024 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service available beginning at 3:00 p.m.

We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Baked French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Mother’s Day brunch feature that will be available for brunch: lobster quiche featuring Maine lobster, Gruyère and brie cheeses, caramelized shallots, exotic mushrooms, garlic confit, fresh basil and silky eggs baked in a flaky hand-made crust, served with a mixed greens salad with herb-balsamic vinaigrette.

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, portobello mushrooms, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Mother’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: herb-crusted salmon with roasted Scottish salmon filet, served over rustic white cheddar mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, baby carrots and finished with a truffled honey-Dijon glaze.
