At each Special dinner, Chef James Briscione will present a selection of welcoming aperitivos followed by a four-course dinner that will feature Italian favorites. In addition, wine pairings will be included as selected by Wine Director Brooke Parkhurst.
Thursday, January 5: A Celebration of Truffles & Piedmont Wines
Savor the last of the season’s truffles and the best wines of the Piedmont region with Chef James Briscione and Wine Director, Brooke Parkhurst. Michael Fix, of Winebow Fine Wine & Spirits, will share his extensive knowledge of Piemontese wines. Event cost is $300 per person (all inclusive).
Thursday, February 16: Venetian Carnival
Venetian Carnival is a time of decadence—a celebration of pleasure and abundance before Lent season. In true Italian style, we will showcase carnival cuisine at its bold and full-flavored best. Think roasted pork, meaty pastas and an abbondanza of fried sweets, “dolci di Carnevale!” Prosecco and the beautiful rich red wines of the Veneto will complete our lavish dinner. Event cost is $175 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
Thursday, May 18: Sacred Lemon Feast “La Sagra del Limone”
As a celebration of the coastal Italian spirit of Anglena’s, our very own celebrity chef James Briscione will host a once-a-year cooking class, complete with ‘live’ demonstration, tasting and Q&A. The lemon, the symbol of the Amalfi Coast and of Angelena’s, will be front and center in this special Spring menu. Wine Director Brooke Parkhurst will pour the most-requested and most-loved wines from her all-Italian list. Event cost is $150 per person (plus tax & gratuity).
