A Spirit and Food Event Featuring Tequila
Jackson’s Steakhouse is proud to present our third annual Cinco de Mayo dinner; a handcrafted tequila and food event at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Thursday, May 4, 5:30 p.m.
The dinner will highlight four different tequilas with Beverage Manager Josh Goldman in attendance to shed more light on the craft of distilling tequila. Chef Irv Miller has created a delicious menu that underlines the flavors from the tequilas. The full menu is as follows:
To Start
Chilled Magnolia Bluff Oysters from the Pensacola Bay Oyster Company served on the half shell
with margarita mojo paired with Qui Extra Platinum Añejo
Second Course
Black bean galette and chorizo with sour cream, serrano peppers, heirloom tomato and avocado salsa, cilantro paired with Azuñia Black Añejo
Third Course
Pan-fried duck breast with mole poblano sauce, Fresno Chiles, charred tomatillo, and roasted corn off the cob paired with Single Estate Ocho Reposado
Fourth Course
Guajillo-grilled vegetables, coriander, cumin, cilantro, and Bill-E’s bacon lardons paired with Tequila Herradura Colección de la Casa, Reserva 2016
To Finish
Chocolate cake with Mexican vanilla bean gelato with chipotle, cinnamon and agave syrup
