Graham, a lawyer and politician, has served as Senator of South Carolina since 2003. Prior to his service as senator, he served as a member of the Congressional House of Representatives 1995 -2003.

Martinez served as a Senator of Florida from 2005 – 2009. His election made him the first Cuban-American to serve in the U.S. Senate. Previously he served as the Secretary of Housing and Urban an Development under President George W. Bush.
