Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer their standard menus, as well as special features created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins, Executive Chef Irv Miller, Chef de Cuisine Jason Hughes and Executive Chef James Briscione.

The Fish House

Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at The Fish House! We will be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day feature as created by Chef Jason Hughes. The Fish House brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our Classic Eggs Benedict, world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, Baked French Toast, and our crispy fried Chicken Biscuit. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for brunch: Duck and Waffles featuring buttermilk-fried confit duck leg with aged cheddar-cornmeal waffles, topped with a bourbon-cane syrup glaze and served with crispy Applewood bacon.

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks and of course, our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya — our signature dish featuring spiced Gulf jumbo shrimp atop a sauté of spinach, portobello mushrooms, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic, shallots, and cream over a heaping bed of smoked Gouda cheese grits. Chef Jason Hughes has created a special Father’s Day feature that will be available for dinner: Swordfish au Poivre featuring cracked pepper-crusted Gulf swordfish filet served with smoked Gouda potatoes au gratin, lemon-garlic sautéed spinach, and charred tomato. Topped with a whole grain mustard brandy cream.

Jackson’s Steakhouse

Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at Jackson’s! We will be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day features as created by Chef Irv Miller. Jackson’s Father’s Day brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

For brunch, we will be serving from our standard menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, omelets, sandwiches and brunch plates including Deep Dish Quiche Lorraine, Cajun Omelet, Steak and Eggs, and Ricotta Toast with Sliced Smoked Salmon. In addition, Chef Irv Miller has created a Father’s Day brunch feature: cumin-rubbed and roasted pork loin Benedict, soft poached eggs, Hatch Green Chili hollandaise sauce, sweet corn and black bean pico de gallo.

For dinner, we will be serving from our dinner menu featuring a selection of starters as well as local fish, steaks, chops and lobster. In addition, our extensive award-winning wine list will be available. Chef Miller will also be offering a special dinner feature: black pepper-crusted petite filet, wild mushroom and Parmesan Reggiano risotto, hickory-wood grilled asparagus.

Five Sister’s Blues Café

Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day brunch at Five Sisters!  We will be open for our traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. serving from our standard brunch menu which features a selection of starters, salads and entrees as well as our classic brunch favorites including the Sisters’ Brunch Benedict, Smothered Chicken Biscuit, Belgium Waffles and more. In addition, Chef John Huggins special feature will be: A taste of BBQ; Spareribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken and sausage, served with Memphis slaw, brisket elote, and BBQ sauces

Five Sisters Blues Cafe, located at 421 West Belmont, on the corner of Belmont and DeVilliers, home to the Mississippi Blues Marker Trail, is a restaurant built on some of Pensacola’s deepest history right in the heart of historic downtown Pensacola. The reconstruction of the old Gussie’s Record Shop heralds the reawakening of the old Belmont-DeVilliers neighborhood. Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Join us on Sunday, June 18, for Father’s Day at Angelena’s. We will be open 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. offering our current dinner menu which features a selection of salads and starters as well as house-made pasta, pizzas, local seafood, lasagna and more. Additionally, Chef James Briscione will offer a special Father’s Day feature: an Italian beef sandwich with slow-roasted beef, garlic bread bun, provolone, pickled peppers. Our full, extensive Italian wine list will also be available.
