A Celebration of Truffles at Angelena’s: A Food and Wine Event

Once again, Angelena’s is pleased to offer a special dinner celebrating truffles. The dinner will be held in the Garden Room and will be offered on two different evenings: Tuesday, January 14th and Wednesday, January 15th, both at 6:00 p.m.

Chef James Briscione will present a selection of aperitivos followed by a four-course dinner that will feature fresh black and white truffles as well as handmade pastas. In addition, wine pairings will be offered as selected by Wine Director Brooke Parkhurst. The menu for the evening is as follows:

Aperitivo

Carne Crudo Toscana featuring Tuscan-style beef tartare and black truffle Aragosta — poached lobster, blood orange and Treviso black truffle — both paired with GD Vajra Della Neve Brut Rose NV

 

Cena

Uova featuring soft-poached egg, cauliflower, Parmigiano Reggiano, white truffle paired with Domaine Tollot-Beaut et Fils Bourgogne Blanc 2015

 

Agnolotti dal Plin with handmade ravioli, truffle fonduta and white truffle paired with Proprieta Sperino ‘Uvaggio’ Coste della Sesia Rosso 2013

 

Pollo featuring Joyce Farms chicken, lacinato kale, butternut squash and black truffle paired with GD Vajra Barbera d’Alba Superiore 2015

 

Gelato with fior di latte gelato, truffle honey and meringue

Price for the dinner is $150 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Optional wine pairings are available for an additional $50 excluding tax and gratuity. Seating for the Celebration of Truffles dinner is limited; reservations are required and can be made by calling 850-542-8398. Please note that wines and vintages are subject to change.
