Downtown Pensacola — New Year’s Eve!
Jackson’s, located in the heart of downtown on Plaza Ferdinand, is once again preparing to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Jackson’s will be offering two special seatings for the evening in the President’s Room. The seatings will be held at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and will feature the culinary creations of Chef Irv Miller with a fixed-price, three-course menu and bottomless Piper Sonoma champagne. The cost per person is $125 with complimentary favors and valet services included. Tax and gratuity are not included. The menu is as follows:
To Start – Choice of
Maine lobster bisque with house-smoked local baby heirloom tomatoes, crouton with fresh tarragon crema and hackleback caviar
Field greens with champagne vinaigrette with red grapes, pomegranate seeds, roasted Anjou pears with Cointreau syrup, navel oranges, toasted spiced pecans and Gorgonzola cheese
Entrées – Choice of
8-ounce center-cut filet mignon featuring Dauphinoise potatoes, creamed petit pois gratin and crispy tobacco onions
“Puttin’ On the Ritz” Ritz cracker-crusted Gulf red snapper fillet with Prosecco sparkling wine butter sauce, grilled asparagus and rainbow carrots
Veal chop Chasseur featuring pan-seared 12-ounce veal chop with white wine, oyster mushrooms, caramelized pearl onions, tomato, demi-glace and parsley, grilled asparagus and buttered rainbow carrots
Add a lobster tail for an additional $25
Something Sweet – Choice of
Chocolate truffle and custard tartelette with bubbly-soaked fresh berries with Chambord, Chantilly cream and spearmint
Triple Meyer lemon cream cake with white lemon cake, lemon meringue, lemon cream swirl, and confectioners sugar glaze

For those wishing to attend the 7 p.m. symphony performance at the Saenger Theatre, or for those making early New Year’s Eve plans, Jackson’s will open at 5 p.m. and will feature service from the fall/winter dinner menu. Additionally, they will be offering general dinner reservations in the Governor’s Room with service from the fall/winter dinner menu all evening long.
