Jackson’s, located in the heart of downtown on Plaza Ferdinand, is once again preparing to celebrate the New Year’s Eve.
Jackson’s will be offering two special seatings for the evening in the President’s Room. The seatings will be held at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and will feature the culinary creations of Chef Irv Miller with a fixed-price, three-course menu and bottomless champagne. The cost per person is $125 with complimentary favors and valet services included. The menu is as follows:
To Start – Choice of
Roasted Anjou pear and Gorgonzola Cheese with arugula, walnut and Champagne-rosemary vinaigrette finished with lunchbox pepper confetti
Gulf coast seafood stew featuring clams, shrimp, oysters, cream-enriched broth, ginger, cilantro, jalapeño
Entrées – Choice of
Gulf red snapper and slow-cooked cauliflower grits served with a brown butter pecan sauce, parsley, and winter vegetables
Boudin-stuffed 14-ounce veal chop topped with a fig and bourbon sauce, served alongside foie gras dirty rice, and wilted spinach
16-ounce prime New York strip with garlic butter, pommes frites, and winter vegetables
Add a lobster tail for an additional $25
Something Sweet – Choice of
Molded chocolate stracciatella gelato with cappuccino crème anglaise and caramel foam
Sweet potato and pecan tart featuring roasted sweet potatoes, pecans, brown sugar and egg custard topped with torched marshmallow meringue and Meyer lemon sauce

For those wishing to attend the 7 p.m. symphony performance at the Saenger Theatre, or for those making early New Year’s Eve plans, Jackson’s will open at 5 p.m. and will feature service from the fall/winter dinner menu. Additionally, they will be offering general dinner reservations in the Governor’s Room with service from the fall/winter dinner menu all evening long.
