Jazz at Jackson’s: Jazz and Other Favorites Featuring Valerie and Ray Russenberge

Design

Join us at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Thursday, October 27, for our latest installment of “Jazz at Jackson’s.”

The featured performers for the evening are vocalists Valerie Russenberger accompanied by Ray Russenberger. Ray will also accompany Valerie on guitar and keyboard. Together, they will present “Jazz and Other Favorites” — featuring old jazz standards, progressive country storytelling and Broadway classics. This will be their third performance at Jackson’s which is always a sell-out event!

Valerie Russenberger, a well-known performer, has appeared in a number of productions at the Pensacola Little Theatre. She is an active community volunteer and has her own production company, Curtain Call Productions. Many productions of the company have been presented at the Pensacola Little Theatre. Valerie loves comedies and musicals but most of all, she loves performing with her husband, Ray.

Ray Russenberger, a Pensacola businessman who played Dogpatch USA in his youth, is a self-taught musician who has enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and five-string banjo for many years. Valerie and Ray have been singing together for over twenty years and have evolved into performing at various venues all for fun and charity.

There will be two seatings for this event: 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. In addition to our full dinner menu, which will be available for the evening, Chef Miller has prepared a special-feature entrée: Hickory-fired zabuton Wagyu with garlic-Parmesan shrimp, whipped potatoes and buttered spinach.

This is a limited-seating event. To reserve your table, please call Jackson’s Steakhouse, (850) 469-9898.
