A spirit and food event featuring Compass Box Whisky Company and Jackson’s Steakhouse
Jackson’s Steakhouse is proud to partner with Compass Box Whisky Company and Premier Beverage to present a handcrafted whisky and food event at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Thursday, November 13, 5:30 p.m.
Compass Box makes a range of whiskies that covers the full spectrum of Scotch styles. They use only the best distilleries; the whiskies are aged in the highest quality oak casks and, with these building blocks, create whiskies with richness, balance, and purity of flavor. Their methods are artisanal and more traditional than most whisky makers, with no coloring added and no chill filtration. They gauge quality by flavor, not age statement. Widely respected in the industry, they have been voted Whisky Magazine’s “Innovator of the Year” an amazing four times.
The dinner will highlight Scotches and whiskies from Compass Box Whisky’s Signature Range including Asyla, a blend of soft, fruity malt whiskies with rich, sweet grain whiskies. Asyla is the lightest of the range and has won the most awards. Mark Pruckner, Brand Manager for Premier Beverage and representative of Compass Box Whisky, will be in attendance to shed more light on the craft of brewing Scotch. Chef Irv Miller has created a delicious menu that underlines the flavors from the Scotch whiskies. The full menu is as follows:
