My Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

3 loaves French bread, sliced lengthwise with long hinge remaining
1 pound unsalted butter
4 tablespoons fresh garlic, finely chopped
¼ cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed
1/8 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, rinsed and chopped
3 tablespoons crushed red peppers
1 tablespoon kosher salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Remove butter from refrigerator. Place into a medium-size mixing bowl. Let sit for 1 hour at room temperature. Add garlic, lemon juice, parsley, crushed peppers and salt. Blend mixture with your hands. Open French loaf on the hinge and apply garlic butter generously to each side of the bread. Close up bread and wrap with foil. Bake for 12-15 minutes and then unwrap and cut before serving.
