Angelena’s Supper Club: A Series of Food and Wine Events

Angelena’s is pleased to offer a series of Supper Clubs, offered every other month, each themed around Italian traditions. Each dinner will be held in the main dining room at 6:00 p.m.

At each Supper Club, Executive Chef James Briscione will present a selection of welcoming aperitivos followed by a four-course dinner that will feature Italian favorites. In addition, wine pairings will be included as selected by Brooke Parkhurst, Wine Director.

Thursday, August 18: A Celebration of Rosé From Around the World

Five Wines and Small Plates
Featuring Executive Chef James Briscione; Brooke Parkhurst, Wine Director; and Max Rowe, Breakthru Beverage’s Luxury Wine Specialist. Event cost is $120 per person (including gratuity).

Calabrian Tuna Tartare Crispy risotto cake, Saba paired with Alma Negra Brut Rose and Kir Yianni Amyndeon Akakies Sparkling Rosé

House-cured Salmon Pizza Beet cured salmon, red onion, mascarpone, capers paired with Chateau Minute, Cotes de Provence Prestige Rosé 2021

Sicilian Roast Chicken Peach agrodolce, arugula, olive vinaigrette paired with La Fete du Rosé 2020

Thursday, October 20: Whole Hog Supper Club with Spotted Trotter Charcuterie (Atlanta, GA)

Chefs James Briscione and Kevin Ouzts of Atlanta’s Spotted Trotter Charcuterie will bring the Italian macellaria(butcher shop) to you in this unforgettable fall food and wine event. The demonstration and dinner will feature cured meats as well as fresh cuts of pork. Participants will watch and learn in real time as both Chefs Briscione and Outz share the secrets behind how they transform their favorite cuts of pork into the delectable dishes that will be offered for tasting. Joining the all-star chef team will be Maurilio Purpura, CEO of Italian wine distributor, VinoVeritas. Purpura will do a deep dive into Southern Italian red wines and pair them with the chefs’ favorite cuts of pork. Event cost is $180 per person (plus tax and gratuity).
