Celebrate Father’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants

Join us on Sunday, June 20th, for Father’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer their standard menus, as well as special features created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins, Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Billy Ballou and Executive Chef James Briscione. As we continue to maintain our strict standards of service, please note seating will be limited. Reservations are required at each restaurant.

The Fish House

Join us on Sunday, June 20, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at The Fish House! We will be be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day feature as created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins.

The Fish House brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

We will be serving from our brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, and brunch favorites: Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast, Classic Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. As always, we will be offering Bloody Mary’s for $2. For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks. 

Chef John Huggins has created a Father’s Day special which will be available at both brunch and dinner service; lightly blackened Gulf grouper, Nola barbeque shrimp and lump crab, served over mashed potatoes and broccolini.

Jackson’s Steakhouse

Join us on Sunday, June 20, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at Jackson’s! We will be open and will offer brunch and dinner service as well as special Father’s Day features as created by Chef Irv Miller.

Jackson’s Father’s Day brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

For brunch, we will be a selection of starters, salads, steaks and special brunch entrees. In addition, Chef Irv Miller has created a Father’s Day brunch feature: House-smoked brisket eggs benedict with 12-hour hickory wood-smoked brisket, poached eggs, hollandaise, roasted rainbow fingerling potato confit, and grilled asparagus.

For dinner, we will be serving from our dinner menu featuring a selection of starters as well as local fish, steaks, chops and lobster. In addition, our extensive award-winning wine list will be available. Chef Miller will also be offering a special dinner feature: Bacon-barded filet mignon with smoky bacon wrapped 8-ounce filet mignon, roasted rainbow fingerling potato confit, garlic spinach sauté, and blistered grape tomatoes. 

At both brunch and dinner, all dads receive a complementary bloody Mary or martini.

Five Sisters Blues Café

Five Sisters Blues Café will be open for Sunday Jazz Brunch on Father’s Day Sunday, June 20th, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, entrées, seafood and sandwiches as well as brunch favorites: The Sisters’ Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Smothered Chicken Biscuit, and Belgian Waffles. As always, we will have live jazz performances throughout brunch service and offer our signature Bloody Mary: vodka, Louisiana hot sauce, pickled okra, Worcestershire sauce, olive juice and black pepper — topped with a fried chicken wing!

In addition to our brunch menu, Five Sisters will offer a special Father’s Day feature that will be available throughout the day: Chef Ballou’s feature for the day is hickory-smoked BBQ brisket plate served with loaded baked potato salad, pineapple coleslaw and a house roll.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Join us on Sunday, June 20, for Father’s Day dinner at Angelena’s. We will be offering our current dinner menu which features a selection of salads and starters as well as house-made pasta, pizzas, local seafood, lasagna and more. Additionally, Chef James Briscione will offer a special Father’s Day feature; 22-ounce cowboy ribeye, chianti-jus, bacon and cacio e pepe gnocchi. Our full, extensive Italian wine list will also be available.

Father’s Day Hours: Dinner Service 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Father’s Day Grab and Go from Great Southern Restaurants: Featuring Five Sisters Blues Café

Great Southern Restaurants will be offering a Father’s Day Grab and Go package featuring Five Sisters Blues Café. The package is $65 plus tax and is based on six people. Additional orders available in increments of six. 

Orders are being taken now for the Grab and Go package and can be placed until noon on Thursday, June 17. Pickups will be available Saturday, June 19, 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The meal will be fully cooked and will include reheating directions. Please note: there will be no substitutions. Additional sides can be ordered and are listed on our full Grab and Go menu.
