Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants

Join us on Sunday, February 14, for Valentine’s Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer their standard menus, as well as special features created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins, Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Billy Ballou and Executive Chef James Briscione. As we continue to maintain our strict standards of service, please note seating will be limited. Reservations are required at each restaurant.

The Fish House

Celebrate this special day, Valentine’s Day, with us at The Fish House on Sunday, February 14. We will be open for brunch service from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m. In addition to our current menus, Chef de Cuisine John Huggins will offer special Valentine’s Day features. These special features will be available throughout Valentine’s weekend — Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

 

Our special lunch and brunch feature will be grilled salmon over sundried tomato pesto, finished with crab beurre blanc.

 

Dinner service will feature two specials, with a choice of surf or turf. Our surf special is a seafood risotto with seared sea scallops, gulf shrimp and lump crab served over lobster risotto. Our turf special will be grilled medallions of beef tenderloin served over a sauté of wild mushrooms and gnocchi, garnished with a puree of roasted acorn squash.

Jackson’s Steakhouse

Join us at Jackson’s Steakhouse on Sunday, February 14 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We will be open for brunch service from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 5:00 p.m. In addition to our current menus, Chef Irv Miller will offer a special Valentine’s feature for lunch, brunch and dinner service. These features will be available Friday through Sunday.

 

The lunch and brunch will feature beef tournedo, 4-ounce beef medallion with creamed spinach and small batch bacon, fried Louisiana oysters, roasted butternut squash mash with butter, and cane and maple syrup. 

 

Dinner will feature beef tournedos, (two) 4-ounce beef tenderloin medallions with creamed spinach and small batch bacon, fried Louisiana oysters, roasted butternut squash mash with butter, and cane and maple syrup.

Five Sisters Blues Café

Join us at Five Sisters Blues Cafe for Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14. We will be open for brunch service from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with dinner service to follow.

 

In addition to our current brunch and dinner menus, Chef Billy Ballou will offer a special Valentine’s feature which will be available at both brunch and dinner service; a mesquite-smoked prime rib with baked lobster mac and cheese, roasted brussels sprouts with caramelized onion, and applewood smoked bacon, finished with au jus and horseradish sauce $32.95. The featured dish will be also be available for dinner service Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Join us at Angelena’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 14. We will be open for brunch service from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 5:00 p.m. In addition to our current brunch and dinner menus, Chef James Briscione will offer a special Valentine’s feature, which will be available at both brunch and dinner service; an 8-ounce filet mignon with butter-poached lobster risotto; pan-seared steak with Tuscan herb butter; creamy risotto with tomato, fennel and butter-poached lobster. The featured dish will also be available for dinner service; Friday, February 12, and Saturday, February 13.
