Celebrate Thanksgiving Day at Great Southern Restaurants

Join us on Thursday, November 26, for Thanksgiving Day at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, and each restaurant will offer a special Thanksgiving feature created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins, Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Billy Ballou and Executive Chef James Briscione. As we continue to maintain our strict standards of service, please note seating will be limited. Reservations are required at each restaurant.
Hours as well as special features, are as follows:
The Fish House
The Fish House will open at 11:00 a.m., serving our regular dinner menu through both the day and evening.
In addition to our standard dinner menu, Chef Billy Ballou has prepared a traditional Thanksgiving plate with all of the trimmings; slow-roasted garlic and herb turkey breast served with Southern applewood-smoked bacon cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, apple and cranberry chutney, whipped garlic mashed potatoes, and finished off with homemade giblet gravy, $24.

Jackson’s Steakhouse
Jackson’s Steakhouse will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., serving a Thanksgiving Plate in addition to our full dinner menu. 
Chef Irv Miller has prepared a traditional Thanksgiving Plate with all of the trimmings; oven-roasted turkey, sliced and served alongside garlic buttered green beans, andouille and cornbread stuffing, Anjou pear and cranberry relish, Yukon gold and fresh thyme whipped potatoes, roasted butternut squash and down-home gravy for $29.

Five Sisters Blues Café
Five Sisters Blues Café will be open Thursday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Day service with five seatings available; 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. We will be serving a fixed-price, three-course menu featuring a traditional Thanksgiving menu.
We will be serving a choice of appetizer: crab bisque or a house salad; a traditional Thanksgiving plate; and a choice of dessert: homemade chess pie or sweet potato pie. The Thanksgiving plate will include herb-brined, sliced turkey breast, bourbon-glazed ham, and all the trimmings — green beans, mashed potatoes, yams, cornbread dressing and dinner roll for adults: $24.95 and children: $12.95.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano
Angelena’s will be open 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., serving a Thanksgiving Plate in addition to our new fall dinner menu.
Chef James Briscione has prepared a Thanksgiving Plate with all of the trimmings; wood-fired turkey ’saltimbocca’ served with Parmesan potato puree, cranberry chutney, focaccia and Italian sausage stuffing for $29.

Great Southern Thanksgiving Grab and Go
Great Southern Restaurants will also offer a Thanksgiving Grab and Go dinner package featuring Five Sisters Blues Café.The package is based on six people with additional orders available in increments of six.
The Thanksgiving Meal includes:
6-lb. split Turkey
Green Bean Casserole
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Cornbread Dressing
Cranberry Sauce
Brown Gravy
Dinner Rolls
The six-person package is $65 plus tax. Orders are being taken now and can be placed until noon on Monday, November 23. Pickups will be available on Wednesday, November 25, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The meal will be fully cooked and will include reheating directions. Please note: there will be no substitutions. Additional sides can be ordered and are listed on our full Grab and Go menu. Home-made chess pie and sweet potato pies are also available for purchase.
