A Celebration of the Iconic Wines of Antinori: A Wine and Food Event

Angelena’s is pleased to offer a special wine dinner celebrating the iconic wines of Antinori from the Tignanello, Guado al Tasso and Castello Della Sala Estates. The wine dinner will be held in the main dining room on November 17th at 6:00 p.m.

The Antinori Family is the pre-eminent wine-making family in all of Italy. Angelena’s wine dinners will feature four truly extraordinary Antinori wines with unrivaled ratings. From their “Tre Bicchieri” award-winning Chardonnay to the bold Guado al Tasso Bolgheri blend, the evening will be a feast for the senses.

The highlight of the evening will showcase Tignanello, the wine that started the Super Tuscan movement and broke all the rules, shaking the Italian wine industry to its core. Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon come together in their Tignanello 2017 that will be poured, demonstrating how innovation in winemaking, along with the soil and climate of Chianti Classico region, can create an exceptional wine.

The wine dinner will be hosted by Wine Director, Brooke Parkhurst, and Antinori Florida State Manager, Anthony Gardner. In addition to the wine, Chef James Briscione will present food pairings for each wine.

Anthony Gardner is the Florida state manager for Antinori, representing one of Italy’s most iconic and historic families of wine. He began his career in hospitality and fine dining in Disney World, over 10 years ago. After representing multiple wineries and spirit generic for ativan producers, he found an appreciation for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, representing Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne, Spring Valley Vineyards and more. Now, Anthony’s main focus is the Antinori family of wines.
