Celebrate Father’s Day Brunch and Dinner at Great Southern Restaurants

 

Join us on Sunday, June 21, for Father’s Day brunch and dinner at Great Southern Restaurants! All of our restaurants will be open, each restaurant will offer brunch and dinner menus, as well as special Father’s Day features as created by Chef de Cuisine John Huggins, Executive Chef Irv Miller, Executive Chef Billy Ballou and Executive Chef James Briscione. Brunch and dinner hours for each restaurant, as well as special features are as follows. Please note, all restaurants will be taking reservations.

 

The Fish House and Atlas Oyster House: Chef de Cuisine John Huggins

Brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

 

We will be serving from our brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, seafood and sandwiches as well as our world-famous Grits à Ya Ya, and brunch favorites: Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast, Classic Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. As always, we will be offering Bloody Marys for $2.

 

For dinner, we will offer our standard dinner menu, which features a wide variety of fish selections, platters and samplers, steaks.

 

Chef de Cuisine John Huggins’ special, which will be available at both brunch and dinner service, is a 14-ounce hickory-smoked prime rib with Parmesan scalloped potatoes and sautéed haricot verts with caramelized onions served with a side of house made horseradish sauce.

Jackson’s Steakhouse: Chef Irv Miller

Jackson’s Father’s Day brunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

 

For brunch, we will offer a selection of starters, salads, steaks and special brunch entrees. As always, we will be offering bottomless Piper Sonoma for $10. In addition, Chef Irv Miller has created a Father’s Day brunch feature: house-smoked pork eggs benedict featuring molasses, fresh rosemary, brown sugar-brined 10-hour hickory wood smoked pork shoulder, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce with fresh thyme-roasted Yukon potatoes and grilled asparagus.

 

For dinner, we will be serving from our dinner menu featuring a selection of starters as well as local fish, steaks, chops and lobster. In addition, our extensive award-winning wine list will be available. Chef Miller will also be offering a special dinner feature: a 14-ounce Delmonico steak with red wine and herb demi-glace, whipped potatoes, roasted mushroom-196 black garlic compound butter and roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon.

 

At both brunch and dinner, all dads receive a complementary Bloody Mary or martini.

Five Sister’s Blues Café: Chef Billy Ballou

Five Sisters Blues Café will be open for our traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. serving from our brunch menu. Chef Ballou’s feature for the day is hickory-smoked BBQ brisket plate served with loaded baked potato salad, pineapple coleslaw and a house roll.

Orders are being taken now for the Grab and Go package and can be placed until noon on Thursday, June 18. Pickups will be available Saturday, June 20, 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The meal will be fully cooked and will include reheating directions. Please note: there will be no substitutions. Additional sides can be ordered and are listed on our full Grab and Go menu.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano: Chef James Briscione

Angelena’s Father’s Day brunch hours are 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with dinner service 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

 

For brunch, we will be a selection of starters, salads, pizzas, pastas and special brunch entrees. As always, we will be offering our featured bubble service; a bottle of house Prosecco served tableside with a selection of seasonal fresh juices and garnishes.

 

For dinner, we will be serving our dinner menu which features a selection of salads and starters as well as house-made pasta, pizzas, local seafood and more. In addition, our extensive Italian wine list will be available.

 

Chef James Briscione’s special Father’s Day feature, which will be available, at both brunch and dinner service will be short rib ravioli with Amarone braised short rib filling with crema di gorgonzola.
