Jackson’s Steakhouse celebrates the most spectacular evening in Downtown Pensacola — New Year’s Eve!

Jackson’s, located in the heart of downtown on Plaza Ferdinand, is once again preparing to celebrate the New Year.

 

Jackson’s will be offering two special seatings for the evening in the President’s Room. The seatings will be held at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and will feature the culinary creations of Chef Irv Miller with a fixed-price, three-course menu and bottomless champagne. The cost per person is $125 with complimentary favors and valet services included. The menu is as follows:

 

To Start ­– Choice of

Shiitake Mushroom and Asian Greens

Sesame-marinated savoy cabbage and cucumber slaw, sugar snap peas, grain mustard-yuzu vinaigrette, and wasabi wonton chips

 

Lobster and Oyster Stew

Coconut milk-enriched lobster broth, ginger, cilantro, jalapeno and oyster crackers

 

Entrées – Choice of

Louisiana Farmed-Red Fish “Meuniere”

Dirty rice fritters, gumbo greens with lemon butter and parsley

 

Duck Breast Confit

Farro salad, grilled asparagus, maple bourbon bacon jam, and cracklings

 

Filet Mignon with Truffle Aïoli

Roasted fingerling potatoes with winter vegetables, glace de viande

Add a lobster tail for an additional $25

 

Something Sweet – Choice of

“Chirv” Pavé

Cappuccino and Oreo cookie gelato created by Dolce and Gelato, formed in a

rectangular mold, and sliced with bruléed house-made marshmallow cream

(Named for our very own “Chef Irv”)

 

Guava Custard Tart

Toasted macadamia nuts, scarlet orange-tupelo honey glaze, Chantilly cream, and Florida citrus trinity

 

According to Steve Ooms, general manager, “We’re already excited about New Year’s Eve. Don’t wait to reserve your table, for last year’s celebration was a sold-out event.”

 

For those wishing to attend the 7 p.m. symphony performance at the Saenger Theatre, or for those making early New Year’s Eve plans, Jackson’s will open at 5 p.m. and will feature service from the fall/winter dinner menu. Additionally, they will be offering general dinner reservations in the Governor’s Room with service from the fall/winter dinner menu all evening long.
